Architect Alphonse Hannaert designed, in 1904, for his personal use, this high terraced house, in the midst of the Art Nouveau period.

His project takes up ideas of the style then in vogue but does not apply all the precepts.

No curves, lashes, exuberant flowers are to be found here.

Everything is straight, and plays on the alternation of colored glazed bricks, sculpted blue stone, mosaics and elegant sgraffito.

The whole is very neat.

The facade is in excellent condition and has recently been restored with care and respect.
