Private mansion in Art Deco-Andalusian style, designed in 1926 by architect Adrien Blomme for Léon and Yvonne Wielemans, owners of the Wielemans breweries.

Adrien Blomme was the appointed architect of Léon Wielemans for whom he built in the rue Neuve, the Métropole cinema, the extension of the Métropole hotel, the Frégate tavern, the Cécil boutique, and many other trade buildings, including the brewing hall in Forest, today named “Wiels”.

The interior design of the large mansion is totally inspired by Andalusian art, after an in-depth study trip to Spain by the architect and his clients. The "azulejos" were also shipped directly from Sevilla.

After the takeover by Generali Insurance, the building was restored in 1997, according to the rules of art, by architect Morozzo della Rocca. It then became an Arts and events center.

The building and its garden have been listed since September 1994.
