On the beautiful Chaussée de la Hulpe, several emblematic office buildings were built in the 1960s. The Glaverbel building is one of its flagships.
Designed by architects Jacqmain, Braem, Mulpas and Guilissen in 1967, it represents one of the finest examples of functionalist architecture, favoring aesthetics, marrying natural stone and glass.
The very shape of the perfectly circular building gives it a strong identity.
Thoroughly renovated without altering its identity, in 1998, in order to meet new architectural and environmental standards, the building remains one of the most beautiful office sites in Brussels.
