Architect Lucien De Vestel designed this modernist-streamline style apartment building, in 1933, comprising two apartments with two entrance doors side by side, and two stairwells.
Beautiful masonry work, porthole windows, rounded balconies, are all elements inspired from the Amsterdam School.
The top floor was added by the same architect in 1955.
De Vestel built private dwellings between 1932 and 40, then devoted himself after the war to more monumental buildings, including the Berlaymont in collaboration with the Polak brothers and Jean Gilson.
