Architect Alphonse Delvaux designed several bourgeois houses on this street, newly laid out at the beginning of the 20th century.

This one stands out from its neighbors with its more refined appearance and Art Nouveau accents.

Certain elements of the facade are inspired by Paul Hankar's private home, including the natural stone and hard stone basement, the elaborate cornice, the sgraffito, and the sculpted hard stone.

The railing, the front door, and the ironwork in the basement were created using the same geometric pattern.

The house appears to have been recently carefully restored; the woodwork, including the balcony and front door, was probably redone according to the original drawings.

The sgraffito, also restored, bears a date of 1931.

The whole is in very good condition.
