Art Nouveau school building, designed in 1897 by architect Victor Horta upon request of city mayor Charles Buls.
This will be his only achievement in the field of education.
Magnificent asymmetrical facade, made up of unequal spans, including a large central part and two lateral parts.
Beautiful front door topped by a very elegant ironwork and glass canopy.
The building is still occupied by a school and has been remarkably preserved.
The last restoration was carried out in 2000 under the supervision of Barbara Van der Wee, the architect who specializes in Victor Horta's works.
