At the corner of Rue Antoine Bréart and Rue de Lombardie, stands this imposing Modernist building designed in 1924 by architect Pierre Verbruggen for his personal use (offices and housing).

Strongly inspired by the Amsterdam School "De Stijl" with its interplay of superimposed volumes and its windows divided into three parts, adorned with small stained glass windows with geometric patterns.

The red color of the framework (all original) seems to be part of the initial project.

Astonishing ironwork front door representing a stylized stork.

Building classified in March 1995.
