Ernest Blerot, architect of this beautiful single-family house built in 1898, was a prolific architect, with more than fifty houses built between 1898 and 1904, for the Brussels petty bourgeoisie.
He himself designed the stained-glass windows, sgraffito, ironwork and mosaics. Blerot was a complete artist.
This house is a good example, and has been fortunate to find owners keen to restore it to its former glory.
Note the very elegant vintage architect’s signature.
