Not far from the Withuis, on 183 avenue Woeste in Jette, stands another astonishing small house by architect Joseph Diongre designed in 1927, as the large number above the door attests.
Beautiful carved signature next to the garage door.
The architect superimposed shapes, gray bricks and iridescent red and green ceramics.
The windows are all different in shape and size. Diongre was an extravagant architect, who ended up creating large, more rigorous complexes such as the former INR, Place Flagey or the municipal hall of Woluwé St Lambert!
