Architect Daniel Renier designed, in 1929, this house and artist's workshop for master glassmaker Raphaƫl Evaldre, one of the main Art Nouveau artists, who worked for the greatest architects of the time, Horta, Hankar , Saintenoy and many others.
The house is simple and rather classic, with however some Art Deco influences.
The workshop is located on the first floor under a glass roof.
Note that the stained glass windows decorating the large bay window are relatively wise for an artist who was so exuberant three decades before.
