  • Coppé Vital

Curious modernist house built in 1931 on a narrow and cramped corner lot.

Architect Vital Coppé (nice signature on the wall) designed a very special building, pierced with multiple windows, including on the rotunda which hugs the corner, and projections which punctuate the two facades.

An original canopy overhangs the front door.

The architect applied a plaster that was popular at the time, painted here in green on one side and off-white on the other side.

It seems that the green colors of the front and the red frames do not correspond to those originally used.
