Private mansion in French Art Nouveau style built in 1911 by French architect Georges Chedanne, author of several monumental and official buildings, the most famous of which is undoubtedly the Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris.
The building is very simple, in blond stone, with beautiful allegorical bas-reliefs representing Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.
The entrance gate features remarkable wrought iron work which alone is worth the trip.
The building has been listed since June 17, 2010 and is the only French Art Nouveau building in Brussels.
