Remarkable three-facade villa in Art Nouveau style, built in 1903 for Mr. De Rooster, by architect Alphonse Boelens.

The facade, on the avenue side, is exemplary of this period with its rounded window surrounded by beautiful cut stones, its very elaborate window and balcony woodwork, its matching ironwork. All in a fairly geometric style. Many sgraffito decorate it.

The current owners, under the supervision of Monuments and Sites, have carried out heavy restoration work which gave the villa its former glory.

Listed building since February 2006
