Few Art Nouveau style houses to discover in this district of Brussels.

This one was designed in 1910 for Alphonse Hellinckx, who was mayor of Ganshoren from 1927 to 1936, the architect is unknown to us.

The facade mixes geometric and floral Art Nouveau style at the same time.

It was decorated with ceramics made by Guillaume Janssens’ workshops (see Villa Marie-Mirande). Construction year and an Art Nouveau style image of a woman adorn the right-hand bay.

It was designed according to the traditional plan in two bays, with a “bel-étage” floor, and a horseshoe shape arched window.

Beautiful colored brickwork mixed with hardstone elements.

Pretty front door adorned with elaborate stained glass protected by beautiful ironwork.

The building has been classified in June 2001.
