Vast building intended for the teaching of arts and crafts, built between 1926 and 33, by architect Alexis Dumont.

The style is monumental Art Deco, the large facade with its rotunda surmounted by statues representing the taught trades, is particularly impressive.

Some ornaments are very similar to those of the Palais des Beaux Arts (Bozar) by Victor Horta, built at the same time.

It is still a busy arts and crafts school, two modern wings were added in the 1970s.
