Architect(s) and/or artist(s)
  • Obozinski Jacques

The architect built his first house in 1921 on the Avenue Brugmann, a booming neighborhood in the 1920s to 1930s.

Jacques Obozinski, ahead of his time, designed a pre-modernist style house, without any facade ornaments.

Most of the buildings from the 1920s were still in Art Deco style.

Here we find a large facade in white plaster pierced with metal lattice windows, and a high bay window illuminating the stairwell.

Two side-by-side entrance doors led one to the offices, the other to the private dwelling.
