Beautiful seven-storey apartment building, built during the real estate boom in the university district in 1938.
It was architect Joe Raemakers who drawed the plans.
The most remarkable element is the imposing semicircular arched entrance portal, made of polychrome glazed sandstone, surmounted by a rounded canopy.
Access to the front door is particularly neat with its ceramic walkways and “liner” balustrades.
The rest of the building is simpler, but very balanced and functional.
The state of maintenance is very good.
