Victor Bourgeois signed here, in 1922, one of his first achievements for Le Foyer Koekelbergeois, a beautiful set of social housing.

The facade is in red brick, punctuated by washed concrete lintels, revealing the pebbles that it is made of.

Nice balance of shapes with advanced parts and others set back.

The building has recently been restored in a very beautiful way, giving it back its original appearance.

Victor Bourgeois was a great theoretician of modernist architecture in Belgium, very active, particularly in the design of social complexes.

He taught at the National School of Architecture and Visual Arts of La Cambre from 1934 to 1962.
