Remarkable apartment building from the interwar years.
Multi-storey buildings were very popular in the upper middle class, and responded to the lack of housing problem in the 30s.
Designed by architects Jean Florian Collin and Stanislas Jasinski, between 1938 and 1940, in modernist style. It was built by the young company Etrimo, created by Collin.
The building gets its great originality from its cylindrical shape and the pinkish color of the facade.
This building is one of the most famous in architectural history of Brussels.
Listed building since April 2007.
