Interesting building at the corner of avenues Bertrand and Voltaire, signed Jos Bal in 1933, in the Modernist style, with Dutch influences and some "Streamline" elements.
The balconies are decorated with stone spheres, and, as a reminder on either side of the front door one find the same shape rounded windows.
The building has undergone major changes to the roof terrace, where the original pergola has disappeared to make way for a closed floor.
By comparing, this building, renovated and restored, and its alter ego on the left, one see the importance of maintaining remarkable buildings in good condition.
