Private mansion in Art Nouveau style located at the corner of the streets of Florence and Livourne, built in 1896 - 98 by architect Octave Van Rysselberge, and decorated by Henry Van de Velde.

Sponsored by financier Paul Otlet.

The very sober architecture compared to what was done at the same time is characterized by an asymmetry of the facade elements while playing on volumes.

A simple frieze of arabesques on a blue background adorns the underside of the cornice. The handle on the main entrance door is remarkable.

This house is currently (January 2021) occupied by lawyer and novelist Alain Berenboom.
