Built by Ixelles born architect Albert Roosenboom in 1900, this house is one of the finest examples of Art Nouveau in the capital.
The sgraffito are attributed to artist Privat-Livemont.
The sculpted details are exceptional as evidenced by the letterbox elegantly connected to the shoe scraper.
After years of abandonment and threats of demolition, it is currently being restored (2023).
It was classified in December 1981.
