In 1926, architect Léon Sneyers designed this beautiful house for a widow, Clémentine Gomand,... whom he married the same year!

Beautiful Art Deco ensemble, with strong influences from the "Viennese Secession" which he discovered during the Turin (Italy) exhibition in 1902.

Leon Sneyers liked simple, balanced shapes, refined facade ornaments, ironwork, small stained glass windows.

As indicated on the window on the ground floor, the house was restored in 1990 with great care and respecting the original design.
