In 1967, architect Roger De Winter designed this modern cubist house for ceramist Willem Hayen.

Very typical of its time with its white walls and large windows, it has retained its unique character.

A ceramic art piece decorates the balcony. The house number was also made in ceramic by the artist, and represents a swan and a shark on either side of the number 77, referring to the surnames of the couple Hayen (Haai-shark) and Zwaenepoel (Zwaan-Swan).

The house has been carefully restored, the garden gates and frames have been replaced.
