  • Horta Victor

Beautiful Art-Nouveau building designed in 1903 by Victor Horta for his friend and collaborator, sculptor Pierre Braecke.

All of Horta’s art can be found here, but in a very simplified and sober version, especially through the double stone framing surrounding the entrance door and the carriage porch, which are closely and gracefully united.

Note the astonishing chimneys, the main one of which pulls the facade up to the sky!

Magnificent door handle sculpted by the artist.

Building listed in December 1997
