In this avenue near the Koekelberg Basilica, stands this small two-storey house, designed by architect Richard Deweirdt, in a modernist style which clearly sets it apart from its neighbors.
All in yellow brick, with its characteristic curves of the 1930s, and its vertical elements in black ceramic stonewere which punctuate the facade.
The entrance door is also framed by an imposing rounded band in black ceramic
Clearly visible signature cut in the hard stone.
Deweirdt worked mainly in the Flemish region, it is perhaps his only achievement in Brussels.
