Designed in 1901 by architect Léon Govaerts, a remarkable social housing building in a clean and sober Art Nouveau style.

The sponsor, as for the neighboring Rue Rodenbach, is the Société Anonyme des Habitations à Bon Marché de l'Agglomération Bruxelloise.

The aim was to provide the working class with decent and healthy housing. Each apartment had a toilet and a fitted kitchen.

The building at 32 rue Marconi and the neighboring buildings, which have been heavily weathered, underwent major renovations in the 2010s. The result is amazing.

Building classified in November 1997.
