Simpler than the three houses located higher on the same street (on no. 42 to 46), these two houses are still worth a look.

Designed by Ernest Blerot in 1900 for the same client, they present some beautiful ornamental details in the windows woodwork and the entrance doors, some interesting sgraffito as well.

The scheme established by Blerot for these terraced houses was always the same, based on the plans imposed by town planning, a facade more or less 6m wide, three adjoining rooms on the upper floor, and a loggia on the first floor.
