Designed in 1905 by architect Henri Jacobs, in Art Nouveau style typical of Brussels row houses, the house at N°7 was awarded in 1906 in the facade competition organized by the municipality of Schaerbeek.
Note the very elaborate ironwork bell and the elegantly decorated arched cornice.
The sgraffito decorating the loggia on the first floor are from Privat-Livemont.
Several houses in the row deserve attention. Henri Jacobs designed in 1900, the two neighboring houses (9 and 11) including his own, the letterbox still bears his name.
Henri Jacobs is best known for having designed around fifteen school buildings in Brussels between 1894 and 1920.
The house at No. 7 was listed in September 1996
