Two row houses built at the same time by and for the architect Ernest Blerot.

The recently restored facades are resplendent, and demonstrate the know-how of Blerot, the man with 76 Art Nouveau houses in Brussels!

We find the usual Blerot plan, with two unequal bays, three floors, blue stone “whiplash” sculpted, at number 11 in particular.

Alternation of blue stone and white stone or light bricks.

Very elaborate stained glass windows and sgraffito with plant designs, light ironwork which adorns balconies, entrance doors and windows.

An elegant three-faced loggia adorns number 11, sitting on a carved stone console terminating in arches around the ground floor windows.

Here, the stained glass windows in green tones are remarkable on the two upper floor windows. A triangular gable finishes the facade of 11, while a large frieze of sgraffito decorates the facade of 9 under the cornice.

Houses listed in March 1983 and June 1993.
