Located on the Boulevard du Souverain, these two adjoining villas designed by architect Louis Hoebeke in 1933 caught our attention, because they are very typical of the 1930s modernist style.

The villa at No.76, presents the same facade elements than its adjoining one, but this time the bricks are yellow, and the balconies more discreet.

A pergola adorns the roof terrace, very fashionable at the time, when sunbathing was very popular. Here too, are typical elements such as tubular railings and large rounded balconies.
