Astonishing facade typical of the "Expo 58" years, designed by architect J.Van Laethem. Relatively classic in its composition, the house is distinguished by a vast wall decoration in sandstone tiles made by the Guérin workshops.
We discover stylised suns, fish, horses, roosters, with drawings that could have been inspired by Picasso. The colors range from sky blue to royal blue, colors which were very popular in “58” architecture.
The guardrails of the entrance staircase and the balconies are also painted in the same color. Note the bright orange enamel door handle.
The whole exudes a strong personality!
