High rise house in Art Nouveau style designed by architect Gustave Strauven in 1900.

It is located 500m from the Maison Saint Cyr, built two years later (the most famous of its creations).

The Van Dijck House’s facade present two unequal spans, with numerous balconies, loggias and exuberant ironwork.

Strauven loved to play with different colored bricks which further add to the flamboyance of the whole.

The building has undergone major transformations, mainly on the interior.

The facade restored at the end of the 80s has lost its splendor, it deserves some work.

Building listed in August 1988.
