Architects signatures

They say that a signed work has more value. Architects have signed their designs, others more rarely, some never.

Often the stone engraved with the architect's name and, in some cases, the construction year, was offered by the contractor.

Sometimes it was the architect himself who took charge of his signature, integrating it creatively, of course, into the style of his work.

Discover here an anthology of his signatures.
