Architect Joseph Diongre signed this house in 1908, one of his very first creations.
When we know that Diongre will build the Maison de la Radio Flagey 30 years later, we can be surprised about the still very classic style of this house.
It nevertheless won the first prize (ex-aequo) of the 1908/09 facade competition organized by the municipality of Schaerbeek!
The façade is quite busy, with Art Nouveau style elements for the front door and the sgraffito signed Privat-Livemont, but above all neo-renaissance for the rest, masonry work, window frames, wooden loggia and traditional stained-glass windows.
The house is in very good condition after a well done restoration.
