Louis Tenaerts

  Born September 5, 1898 in Laeken, died in 1994.

Architect, entrepreneur, businessman. He sold his houses on catalog. Tenaerts is said to have built more than 1,500, of which nearly 200 are in Brussels. His creations combine Art Deco, Streamline Modern, Modernism.

He shaped certain districts of the city, including the Avenue Coghen in Uccle, where he built 17 houses, 5 of which are presented here.
