Jean De Ligne

  Born in Brussels on December 17, 1890 and died in the same city on June 26, 1985.

A graduate in architecture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, he built his own house at the age of 22, which he would occupy until his death in his 95th year. His creations are distinguished by a rational approach and an aesthetic respectful of tradition.

In 1965, he was appointed member of the Royal Academy of Belgium, Classe des Beaux-Arts.
