Born in Brussels on August 1, 1878 and died in Uccle on March 3, 1963.
On September 17, 1890, he was only 12 years old, already a talented designer, he entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, where he followed classes for ten years.
His most outstanding work, the gigantic Art-Deco building, the headquarters of the INR (National Institute of Broadcasting, now Flagey), marked the end of his career.
